8×5’6 Shire Loft 2 Storey Kids Wooden Playhouse

The 8’x5’6” (2.40×1.6m) Shire Loft Playhouse is a superb two storey space for the children to escape to in the safety of their own garden. Constructed from 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding which is supported by 34x34mm framing, this is a robust and hardwearing build. The floor is 12mm tongue and groove, well-known for its durability, strength and weather resistant qualities.  The roof is 12mm tongue and groove with the apex at a beneficial angle to allow maximum headroom inside. The pretty scalloped edge and decorative finial detail complements the exterior design. Three opening windows on the ground floor have safety plastic glazing, decorative shutters and two window boxes. The upper window benefits from decorative shutters and plastic safety glazing, but is fixed to enhance safety. The entrance door is secured with a magnetic catch to ensure the door can be closed, but accessed by adults at any time. A pretty diamond shaped window with safety plastic glazing allows extra light in. The interior has a generous space for play featuring a ladder and upper level with a balustrade. This playhouse is supplied dip treated which we recommended is treated with an anti-fungal treatment upon assembly and annually thereafter to support the 1 year guarantee. The playhouse complies to BS EN 71-1:2014 for added peace of mind.
